Eleven kilometres there and back along the old coastguard path, with a map drawn by our concierge and a swim at the halfway cove.
How it works
The coastguard path runs from the top of the town to the lighthouse at Punta Sera, eleven kilometres there and back. It is well marked, mostly level, and shaded until the last stretch.
We give you a hand-drawn map, a bottle of water and a sandwich. Halfway there is a small cove with a ladder; take a swimsuit.

Swim from the jetty
Thirty-eight steps down from the garden gate to the hotel's own stone jetty, towels and a ladder waiting. The water is clear to the bottom by eight.
