The room
This was the customs officers’ store room, and the walls are still half a metre of bare limestone. They hold the cool of the night well into the afternoon, which makes it the favourite room in August.
Beds can be set as a twin or pushed together as a king; tell us when you book. The louvred window opens onto the lemon garden, where breakfast is served from April.
